Nunn.ai Terms of Service Effective Date: April 20, 2025

  1. Introduction and Acceptance
  • Welcome to Nunn.ai (the Service), an AI-powered evidence law resource provided by Nunn Ventures, LLC (we, us, our). These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of the Service.
  • By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy at /privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
  1. Educational Purpose; No Legal Advice
  • The Service provides AI-generated content related to evidence law for informational and educational purposes only and is not legal advice.
  • No attorney–client relationship is formed by your use of the Service. Consult a qualified attorney for advice regarding your specific circumstances.
  1. Accounts and Eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to contract to use the Service. If using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  1. Acceptable Use

Do not:

  • Use the Service to provide legal advice to others or for unlawful purposes.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights or violate third-party rights.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or our systems.

  1. AI-Generated Content; Verification
  • AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or may not reflect current legal developments. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it.
  1. User Content and File Uploads
  • You retain ownership of content you submit (User Content). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the Service.
  • If you upload files, you represent that you have the rights to do so and grant the license above. See the Privacy Policy for storage and retention practices.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • Except for User Content, the Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Nunn Ventures, LLC and its licensors.
  • Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
  1. Third-Party Services
  • The Service integrates with third-party services (e.g., OpenRouter, Auth0, Stripe). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.
  1. Donations and Premium Features
  • Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Premium features may be offered under separate plan terms and fees disclosed at purchase.

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NUNN VENTURES, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
  1. Indemnification
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nunn Ventures, LLC from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
  1. Modification, Suspension, and Termination
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. You may stop using the Service at any time.
  1. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
  • These Terms are governed by Texas law. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the AAA in Dallas County, Texas, except for claims for injunctive relief regarding intellectual property.
  1. Miscellaneous
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement, and severability and waiver principles apply. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign freely.
